Text Box: Celebration of Ability Award – Youth    Three Scholarships will be awarded to three high school seniors that have overcome their learning disability to succeed at school. They are Macy Parrott of Sacred Heart, Robbie Thompson of Trinity High School and Eddie Sugrue of Trinity High School.
 
Excellence in Education Award is Presented to an educator (teacher/ school administrator) who has shown creative ways to address the unique learning styles of their students and lead them toward a path to success. This year’s recipient is Cathy Gutsell of Waggener High School in Louisville. 
 
Making A Difference Award will be presented to a school that does an excellent job working  separately with students with special needs. This year’s recipient is Eastside Middle School in Shepherdsville, KY
 
Celebration of Ability Award -Adult  is presented to someone that has found success by accepting his/her learning difference as an adult.  This year's recipient is Kelli Rush, a WKU student and representative in the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Pageant.
 
Directors Inspiration Award is presented to someone who has made a difference through example. This year's recipients are the Dewitt Family for their perseverance in dealing with Cater Dewitt's battles with cancer and how treatment for that has also affected his development and ability to learn.
